Ezekiel tears apart the assumption the people had of themselves that they were special, they were God's chosen people and therefore they were immune from any judgment - it just was feasible to their way of thinking. How wrong they were!

A series on Christmas looking through the eyes of those who were involved. Today we have so much negativity towards Christmas we have lost the wonder of it. Many things can be argued about but one thing we are in agreement with is that God sent His Son as a baby into the world to be with us. That is the Christmas wonder we must never lose sight of.

The people in Ezekiel's day made some careless assumptions about their situations - God says they are rebellion, they cannot hear or see the truth when it is right in front of them. They believed in the strength and skill of Zedekiah their king to deal with the Babylonian threat and there was nothing to worry about. Ezekiel tears apart their assumptions to lay bare the truth before them.
